Details: Once again the stupid got up early to walk 10km on a lovely Sunday morning.  This was Apok's and bigmac's 10th B2B in a row!  Idiots.  Our shuttles arrived at the SW1 drop off point at 4.30am.  The group was small, but we knew that we could do this.  Disaster struck early that day.  Cobra, who was about to do his 12th B2B was intercepted by the dreaded Darth Workius and sent on another mission.  Time rolled on and we were expecting Nilrem to turn up.  It was not to be.  We think Darth Newly Marriedus make have had him doing other things.

So our 3 troopers and 2 wranglers hit the road......and waited 2 hours for the it to start.  Next year we will be changing how we do things.  We set a cracking pace and passed many people.  Apok even decided to motivate other runners whenever someone needed a little extra motivation.  Who really wants to be beaten by a Stormtrooper?

We managed a new PB time for this course with a respectable 1h 39m 3s.  Once we crossed the line we were mugged again for a lot of photos and just had to oblige.  Then it was off to Subway for a refueling session.

For those that have not done the B2B it is not for the faint hearted, but it is one of those troops where you get the really cool comraderie of achieving 10km in armour.  Maybe some of you will be silly enough to come along next year.

Charity Funds Raised: $607 ($407 from pecklez!!!!  Great effort)

Injuries / Malfunctions: Surprisingly none.  Just some armour bites as usual.

Public Incidents: Nil!

Mission Status: Success!!!!
