After the emotional speeches made by those who are going through, survived and lost loved ones the walk began. A sea of blue, white and golden lanterns filled the bridge across one of Mackays largest rivers an amazing and awe inspiring site and an honour to be part of. The still, humid air made for an arduous and trying walk for the troops but they continued on. Committed to this cause which touches so many Charity Funds Raised: $49 Injuries / Malfunctions: A few sore feet and backs!
