Date:
20/9/2013
Venue:
BDO Brisbane office
Time:
10-11 am and repeat performance at 2:30 - 3:30
Mission:
BDO free dress day
Trooper Attendance:
RBG: TK26976 Duras
Support Crew / Guest Trooper Attendance:
PA's and COO of BDO kindly kept me safe
Details:
Imperial presence to ensure that those wearing casual gave over their gold coin donation.
Starting at 10am the 11th and 7th floors were investigated and collected from.
COO took over wrangling and we moved over to the 2nd building (stopping for a coffee at the foyer coffee shop on the way) to collect from levels 5 & 6. Though they have already made their donations we were still collecting from them...not sure if more fear of the Empire or the COO
11am decided prob should get back to work as that's apparently what they pay me for.
2pm discovered that the PA for level 12 had forgot/too busy to collect. So quick suit up again to wander the floor.... money box from that one was getting heavy quickly.
19th floor missed out so just randomly wandered their floor for the fun of it.
Charity Funds Raised:
$608 for Starlight
Injuries / Malfunctions:
N/A
Public Incidents:
One staff member lifted and replaced my blaster.... they were lucky not to have been summarily disintegrated
Mission Status:
Success
Photos:
No I'm not scratching my butt was hiding the money envelope out of the picture
This pic got some mileage on it...Staff member posted it, Garret Wells apparently knows them so commented asking if was a 501st person or not, Bids identified it as me, and I got the notification this morning that I'm in this pic
unfortunately the coffee shop haven't as yet forwarded on the pics they got of me
