Troop Report
Date: Sunday 4th of July 2010

Venue: Kmart Mt Gravatt

Time: 1000 - 1400

Mission: To help parents make sure their children got the right toys during the toy sales - Star Wars toys.

Trooper Attendance:
TK4306 - SuperAzza
TK2153 - Scotsman
TB7829 - Michael
ID7931 - Kieran
DZ7622 - The Sniper

Guest Trooper Attendance:
A very special appearance by TD1535 as Batman

Support Crew:
Sniper wrangled for a bit and Kieran as ID was good help

Detail:
Arriving on site at 0900 hours via Imperial drop ship, SuperAzza was escorted to the locker room and quickly reconned with Michael and Kieran. Soon Scotsman turned up and after handing out power muffins it was time to suit up and head on out, but not before finding Sniper in the wrong change rooms.

Doing a quick patrol of the store, TD1535 turned up with a little "surprise" for everyone. Soon the masses began to roll in through the front of the store, with many kids eagerly wanting photos taken with the awesome stormtroopers and batman. There was also a guy in a commando uniform, but he wasnt that cool.

With the front of the store secured and held by imperial forces, forces were sent out to patrol the toy aisles with much to batmans dismay no toys of him, though plenty of stormtrooper figurines to be found. Instead he took his anger out on the troopers with a blow up hammer. As the store got busier so did the troopers, with many junior citizens in awe and loved saying hi to the troopers. Donations were collected for the Kmart Womens Hospital Appeal (correct me if im wrong, going by memory) and a fair amount of Imperial credits were donated.

With knock off approaching, the fighting men of the 501st returned back to the locker room, a job well done.

Injuries:
A few of us were a bit under the weather from colds and previous nights exploits, nothing the guys didn't handle.

Malfunctions:
Doug needed to buy powder to get his mask on, thats all.

Public Incidents:
One rebel attempted to take off SuperAzza's helmet despite being told NO! and nearly took off his head in the process before reinforcements arrived. Tried the same trick on Michael before he eventually took the hint and left.

Mission Status:
Great troop, very easy and the public loved us. SUCCESS.

Photos:
Believe Kieran has a few, will be in the photobucket account soon.

You forgot the fact that sniper was sitting in the room next to ours when we were armoring up, completly oblivious to the fact we were within like 5 meters and going 'where is everyone?' Hehehe Peace

All my photos from all (4 so far) days are here: PHOTO LINK

This lil guy is Liam, i found him in the toy aisle, unfortunatley his parents wouldnt let me buy him, so after they took their own fotos i grabbed Kieran to get some...shy, he wasnt and was totally aghast and then giggled the whole time.

i did ask his dad, discreetly, if he had the 'L'..he said no, but he does have the same rare disease the bald guy on little brittain has where they cant grow any body hair. His dad and i agreed that we were jealous of Liam as he will be able to buy a solid gold Lamboghini with the money he will save on a lifetime of razor blades

Something similar happened to me and Scotty last night. Someone managed to sneak up behind us and grabbed both of our helmets and was either attempting to smash our heads together or remove our helmets. He wanted to know if we were real, granted me and scotty were doing statues but as scotty said to him "all you need to do is ask."
