DSA Walk - Gold Coast
#1
Date: 16th of October 2011

Venue: Paradise Point Park

Time: 9.30am

Mission: To have some fun and show our support to the DSA. To show our support for the DSA.

Trooper Attendance:

TD Apok
TK Mouldman
TB Chief
RL Oigen

Support Crew: Nil

Detail: All troopers were accounted for by 9.15am. Then we decided to head down a side street to get changed. On the way there a charitable imperial citizen offered the use of his garage for his imperial heroes to get changed there. He even let the rebel in as well as we said he was alright and not too bad a bloke...for scum that is Hehehe.

Once suited up we headed out to the masses where we were quickly mobbed faster than a trooper on Endor by Ewoks. After a quick round of photos, high fives and hugs we headed up to the front of the line and took the banner.

Around the park we went for a nice stroll. We had a lot of people waving and having a great time. Then when we all finished the walk we had some more photos and then headed to the jumping castle. We were denied admittance....so there were some disintergrations. It was to be expected.

A great troop and a lot of fun. Definitely going to do this one again.

Charity Funds Raised: Nil. This was a meet and greet.

Injuries: Nil

Malfunctions: Nil

Public Incidents: One of the kids, Jackson, was really interested in his reflection in our lenses and wanted to prise the armour open to see the who was inside.

Mission Status: Awesome. With a capital AWESOME!!

Photos: To be added later as my mate Trent took some but we ended up drinking beer and watching footy all afternoon.

Yeah!.... Awesome work.
