Mission: To assist the Leukaemia Foundation at the ‘Worlds Greatest Shave†event held at Morayfield Masters Home Improvement.

Trooper Attendance: Anakinra, Buzzard, DarkVoyd (Wrangling), Super Trooper

Guest Trooper Attendance: Kylar

A few weeks back Anakinra and I sparked the interest of our Nephew Beaudean and tempted him in joining out proud Legion. To solidify our recruitment we thought it only fitting that we dress him up as a Trooper and take him out in the public with his 'L' plates on. I think we were all impressed with his efforts on the day.

Upon commencing the mission our Commanding officer saw fit to order the arrest of the Store manager, to ensure authroity and control was held by the Empire. He was later release however after bribeing the Commander with her own personal change room!


Troopers then conducted their mission to ensure all local Wookies were shaved as an example to the worthwhile cause:


Apart from the locals we also had other reports of primitive creatures in the area causing fear:


Figuring he would seize the chance for the free hair cut Kylar decided to jump in for a quick 'short, back and sides' as per trooper regulation.


The locals loved this Imperial public display and he was rewarded for his efforts:


Then came an even bigger public show. A family of 4, little Jeremy (Leukaemia Sufferer), his mum, dad and sister were escorted to the stage for their turn at the Wookie shave.


It was touching to see this entire family support their little champion:


Charity Funds Raised: $5000 raise at this event which contributed to a total of +$50k raise by the Caboolture branch of the Leukaemia Foundation

Injuries: A few armour bites caused by the large staircase leading up to the massive change room provided just for us! All worth it for the air conditioned comfort, right Buzzard?

Our Imperial Officer also twisted her ankle on the same large staircase. However this incident wasn't reported at the request of the officer. (We suspect she may have been under the iinfluence at the time) Step's really can be tricky little things!

Malfunctions: Nil

Public Incidents: We were informed of reports that a rebellion was being staged in the forested area of the sector. So our troopers proceeded to check it out.

After passing all security check points.


Our Troopers conducted searches of the forest looking for the spy and hidden rebel base.


Our troopers were then alerted to the rustling of bushes and in the distance a small figure jumped out from hiding and ran from the Troopers. A short foot chase pursued with the Mighty Buzzard hot on the suspects trail. However the chase came to an abrupt halt when the suspect was cornered in the Checkpoint. Trembling in fear (actual) the suspect, a sole Ewok huddled in the corner hiding its face. A short time later a companion Ewok arrived to help its friend escape. After harrassing the Ewok and realising it was no threat (considering it never once looked at them due to fear) the troopers let it return to its natural environment and continued their partols.


There was also lot of reported incidents of child abuse after the cheesy local politicians arrived and started kissing hands and shaking babies.


Mission Status: Major Success!
