Hi!

My Name is Kieran, I first really heard about you guys at Supanova this year (2010), where I practically drown underneath all the paper you guys threw my way Smile

.

Just a little about me: I am a first year student (undergrad) at QUT doing a Bachelor of Information Technology, hoping to specialise in programming and web design. I live in SE Queensland, about 10 minutes (7 KM) from Brisbane's CBD.

I have no idea where to start for a suit (except the raffle for the helmet heh), and any tips/hints/suggestions/opinions/debates/etc for a basic stormtrooper suit would be appreciated!

I hope to be able to help out wherever possible and just have some fun!

Welcome aboard - lots to look, listen and learn here.
Browse the tutorials look at other trooper builds and let your mouse do the walking so to speak. Then go to a AP(armour party) and let the adventure begin.

Armour Parties are usually at peeps homes.

It's where we can get together and have a BBQ and a few drinks.

We also usually bring our latest projects that we are working on.

Hopefully making progress during the day.

Not sure when the next one is.... Some time towards the end of the month, most likely.

Keep visiting the boards for info.

If you are serious about getting a TK (Stormtrooper) it could be about a three month build. Just so you know.

And if you are spending about $1000 (give or take) you won't want to rush. Wink
