Time: 11am – 4pm
Mission: Deployment to help raise funds and awareness at the SIDS and Kids Family Fun Day in Hervey Bay.
Trooper Attendance:
RBG: Baytrooper - TD-22422 - Sandtrooper
Wolf - DZ-2471 – Jawa
GA: Savage Jesse - CSL-0647 - Savage Opress
Support Crew / Guest Trooper Attendance:
Kylee – Jesse’s Mum
Anneliese – Wolf’s better half (Accompanied by their 2 little ones as Leia and a Twi’lek)
Details:
Alerted to a disturbance in the Force, the Sandtrooper was deployed to investigate and patrol the area. He soon came across a Jawa lurking around and detained him to serve as entertainment whilst on patrol. Part of the patrol mission (the most important part) was to raise funds for SIDS and KIDS. Both the Jawa and Sandy, accompanied by their hired helper Savage Jesse, proceeded to mingle with the crowds and provide some entertainment and photo ops for the public. A little Princess Leia was there to keep an eye out on proceedings, along with her Twi’lek helper. The crowd was very happy with the presence and enjoyed getting their picture captured with them. Lots of donations were received and all seemed to have a good time.
Charity Funds Raised: Just over $2000
Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil
Public Incidents: Nil
Mission Status: Successful, like, totally.
