Walk for Brain Cancer - Ashgrove

Mission:Provide colour with a 4km walk around the park for Brain Cancer.

A special appearance from Spiderman aka Phoenix

All the children attending thought they were mini spiders or they were stuck in his web.

Details: We were special guests to add realism to the "Super Hero's" theme for the walk.
A big thanks to Mortogg, Solo and Phoenix who braved the cold to travel from Dreamworld for this event. We made feel very welcome and almost all the children who were there walked with us. Well most walked with Spiderman.
It was very well organised, with a free BBQ, fairy floss, face painting and a Band started playing as we were leaving.
Dianne was very grateful we attended and is hoping to it again next year. Dianne is also battling brain cancer.


Charity Funds Raised:$17,000 was raised in total.

Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil

Public Incidents: Nil (All the children were returned safely to their parents)

Mission Status: To show how awesome the Redback Garrison is by putting smiles on the faces of the walkers.
