Richies Rainbow Walk 2023

Mission:
Attendance at fundraising event for Richie's Rainbow Foundation for research into rare childhood cancers, especially sarcomas, and supporting families across Australia.

Details:
Geared up and on duty at 9, hot and sunny to start. Gradually crowd gathered and participants started arriving until 10:30 when the walk began. Posed for pics and just moved about engaging with participants. Dark clouds rolled in and rain arrived at the exact time the walk started. Perfect timing to end the troop. We were well taken care of as there was plenty of food/drinks. Karl (Richie's Dad) was very happy to see us again and looks forward to future events with us participating with the foundation.

Injuries / Malfunctions:
With 10 minutes to go a strap gave away on Boba Canuck's knee armour, but I don't think anybody noticed. Did not impede the mission.
