Noob alert !!!
It has been my dream since 1978 to be a stormtrooper and now that I am 38 I finally got my wish and my wife bought me a ESB stormtrooper armour I am excited about meeting you guys and girls and sharing stories of my passion for Star Wars.
Glued my armour up today and will be 2 packing it white in the next 2 weeks. Is my ESB FX helmet approved for trooping ?
boots arent available for 2 months from TKboots.
bodysuit,neck seal and gloves are on way from england now.

my auntie got it in england from a friend that never started the kit. I gave her $700 aus for it to give him after seeing pics. upon recieving it i realized the helmet was so bad i bought a ESB FX helmet. my body suit, gloves and neck seal are on way now and TK boots are out of stock for 8 weeks

I just finished glueing all up today and will 2 pac paint all over the next 2 weeks. I am so excited

You will find an abundance of help from these fine guys and gals. If you arrange an AP (Armour Party) I'll give you a hint, specify some "designated drinkers", that way the rest will actually stay sober to help you work on your armour.

HELP PLEASE !!!
I am reading things that worry me about not being accepted or approved by the 501 garrison. How can I get someone to look at my armour and tell me what i need to do so i don't waste time if it needs altering ?

hey mate. glad you finaly joined up here after hurassing you on Facebook. first off slow down you don't want to glue somthing you can't unglue. have alook in our tutorial threads it will give an idea what needs to be done. i live up on the northside as well mate. i mite be able to help you our next weekend if you have major trouble.

Post some pics buddy. Don't stress. You don't need to be approved straight away. We are a friendly bunch here in QLD and if there is a problem then it can be fixed. Even if you have to wait a week it will not be the end of the world. It will be worth the wait. Welcome aboard.

Hi and welcome to the Redbacks. If your armour is from the UK then it sounds like my armour and it is approvable. Yes those helmets that come with them are rubbish. I bought an ESB eFX bucket as well and they are fine straight off the shelf.
Don't be afraid to ask for help..we love to help new guys..so ask away.
