FraserPop 2024 - Baytrooper - Sunday 21-Jul-2024 Date: 13th & 14th July 2024 Venue: Maryborugh High School Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm both days Mission: To raise funds for a local charity, represent The Redback Garrison and showcase our love of Star Wars. Trooper Attendance: 501st:  Baytrooper      Sandtrooper - Jawa Firestorm        TIE Pilot - TIE Reserve MyKill             TIE Pilot - TIE Reserve Thumb           Bridge Crew - Imperial Gunner blueski           Biker Scout Solo               Stormtrooper Phoenix         TK Commander Mitch1           Flag Officer GaugeRage    TX Swamptrooper RL:  Beanie          Rex Triple9          Jedi MyKill           Jedi GA:      Meyzie         Mando Wrangler Extraordinaire :  PhantomBlade - Who wrangled all weekend like she'd never been away. Details: Another great effort by our troopers. As usual, a very fun troop with the local community really getting into the vibe of the event.  Charity Funds Raised: $820.15 raised from the raffle. Local members donated various Star Wars themed items and we created 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prizes. It was very popular as usual. The funds are being donated to Maryborough & District Animal Refuge. Injuries / Malfunctions: N/A Public Incidents: N/A Mission Status: Another success this year with a great response from the public. We had a slightly bigger space this year, so our setup was legit. Over 10,000 people through the gates over the 2 days. I really appreciate the regulars who make the trip to help with this event.  Our 7th year in a row.
