Mission: To support Toowoomba Library's May the 4th be with you Day

Support Crew:Thank you to Beccyd for wrangling for us on the day
Detail: We shared the love of Star Wars with children and their parents at a family fun day hosted by Toowoomba Library. The library had lots of Star Wars activities set out for the children to do. Rubber set up our Wookie prop on the back wall for photos. Beccyd did a wonderful job wrangling and taking photos. Rubber and I posed for countless photos with the children holding either a blaster or tusken Baby.
Charity Funds Raised:The Library have donated straight to Starlight a total of $150 on our behalf. This donation has come from the Toowoomba City Library Group and a staff collection.
Injuries: nil
Malfunctions: nil
Public Incidents: Labour day march made us almost and hour late.
Mission Status: we were an awesome little crew

Thank you it was an awesome little troop. I know we missed some of the Dreamworld festivities, but it was worth it to see the faces as we walked out. I also love troops where people know what I am lol. Rubber did an awesome job on the Wookie and it was a hit for photos.

An update on the donation the library have promised: The library were going to make a donation to the Garrison for Starlight but wanted receipts which Ron and I don't have. The original plan was for them to just donate into our Starlight tin but they emailed me Friday afternoon to say wanted receipts. I messaged Kev but obviously didn't hear back from him in time due to Dreamworld. So I have asked the library to donate straight to the Starlight foundation and to let me know the total. Once they have let me know the total donated I will update the report
It won't be the impressive total from the weekend...but every cent counts right?
