February Wonder Factory - Sithprincess - Sunday 9-Feb-2014 Date: Saturday 8th February 2014 Venue: The Wonder Factory, Royal Brisbane Hospital Time: 9:30am - 11:30am Mission: To attend the Wonder Factory and help bring some Star Wars cheer to the kids in the wards. Trooper Attendance: RBG: Oevil1 – TK stormraven - TIE Pilot Wrangler/RL: Jediprincess - Bespin Leia Details: Just a small group today, but still popular. One of the highlights was a little girl who was celebrating her 3rd birthday. She was absolutely mesmerised by the TIE Pilot. Due to her afflictions, smiling was an effort, but she managed a huge one, and was totally in love with him. It was a pretty cool moment for all who were there. Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil Public Incidents: Nil, aside from the occasional tears from kids who 'weren't too sure', but all good. Mission Status: A great success. Great Job Guys! Its amazing how a few flashing lights can really capture the attention of some kids.... didn't work for that little kid who saw us and just turned and ran away though.
