Troopers once again descended upon Townsville for the 2nd Magneticon. This year we had a death star backdrop and a gonk droid to use as our props, along with a very official looking table full of assorted helmets, trading cards and props.
many photos were had by the public over the weekend and we seemed very well received.
Seantrooper and Monstar had to do a talk on the 501st and stormtrooper armour, only a few people showed up because of timing, but the people who were there seemed interested enough
Major highlight of the event was the fact that Jeremy "Boba Fett" Bulloch was there!! He was nice enough to have a chat to any trooper that came up to him, as well as sign a bunch of our items free of charge because of what we do
Thanks to Muppet, Cobra, Jag and NQDude for organising a blank shirt and arranging with the organisers, we were able to present Jeremy with a Redback Shirt and patch which he was super proud to receive and he said he will wear it at events once he gets back home.
Thanks again to all the troopers that travelled to be here for it, without you we certainly wouldn't have made this as good of an event as it was! Everyone did a great job at trooping and keeping the backdrop manned at all times, which is a feat within itself.
Charity Funds Raised: None collected directly, but portion of ticket sales went to charity
Injuries / Malfunctions: None that I was aware of
Public Incidents: None
Mission Status: A complete success, we'll be back bigger and better next year!

Please feel free to post more, but here are the group shots of us with Jeremy from my camera
