Was great fun and such a beautiful North Queensland day - and as they say its not a true troop unless a kid cries - well that happened I think twice. And Nick... you also forgot to mention his own child almost running away from him I think that was even after he poked his face from under the bucket... go figure!
The kids and big kids were excited and its the best feeling in the world when a little girl has a photo with you then gives you a big hug!! awww Smiling kids faces is what it's ALL ABOUT
This photo sums it all up - photos GALORE - even running dual photos! (I enjoyed this photo way too much LOL)
Armour held up very well and even got to test the new Death Star Zero Gravity Training System - all systems go!!
We have even got a new cadet out of the day so very positive all round - GREAT WORK MACKAY TROOPERS
A BIG THANK YOU TO THE HELPERS "ROSIE" AND "OLD MATE (the other Dave)"!!! AND TO SEAFM MACKAY (Breakfast Announcers Jay and Dave, and their Management) funds are going to our local Mackay and Proserpine Hospitals that are in great need of support and its wonderful to see the local community get behind such local causes, especially in the economic climate that Mackay and districts is experiencing with the economic and mining downturn.
Well done team and well done Redbacks!!
