Details:  Our 8th year trooping this great weekend event!  This was the first year its been held again since 2019 so the event was a bit smaller than usual as the new volunteers get up to speed and every adjusts.

Saturday (thanks to Tobalation for stepping up at the last minute to take the POC job on) A good sunny day and trooping began just after 10am, troopers did a few laps of the museum and loads of people taking photos with us.  We entered some of the aircraft that were safe for us to do so.  After a break for lunch we all kitted back up and did another few laps. Excellent photo opportunities with all the aircraft. GaugeRage was on top form!!

Sunday The clouds rolled in at 9am and made for a chilly day. Crowds were a bit smaller but we all still had a great time stopping for photos with some fans and walking around the museum.  Some costume changes before lunch saw Rebels turn into Imperials....a break for lunch and we continued our troop.  Guage had a close encounter with the top of the Iriqois, Rebelrach and Mykill got some great pics in the F-111.  Kylo raged around after some nice family pics with his Grandpa! A big thanks to MewSefet who did an excellent wrangling job - next year is the goal for approval for her biker scout!

Charity Funds Raised: Nil.

Injuries / Malfunctions:

Sunday - GuageRage misjudged the height of the chopper door and his backpack piece broke off, but an easy fix

Public Incidents: NIL.

Mission Status: SUCCESS – as always. Good crowds and great weather for Saturday, a bit overcast and chilly Sunday with a smaller crowd but we are always a hit with the public and the organisers. A HUGE thanks to all the troopers that came a long way to make the weekend so fun, and make a great addition to the event. Roll on next year to be even bigger and better...
