Details:
Bump in for this event was completed mostly the day prior & with the arrival of the rest of the troopers Saturday morning the final preparations & alterations of the stand were made prior to the doors opening at 09:00 for the special needs guests & the general public at 10:00hrs.
The day started somewhat slow, peaking around midday & late afternoon before dropping away towards the early evening.
Bump out was all hands on board which resulted on a quick exit for the mixer that evening which lasted almost 3 & a half hrs, not a bad effort.
It was also great catching up with the majority of the troopers for breakfast Sunday morning prior to departing.


Charity Funds Raised: N/A

Injuries / Malfunctions: Gix (shoulder bell) what happens when you try to give the Jaggered salute in armour

Public Incidents: Beanie getting a kids head stuck in a TK bucket & the kid crying. (Civilians 0/ Empire 1)

Mission Status:
The operation of this troop was so that we could re-establish a relationship as a garrison with the new event organizer to which I must add, we were extremely successful & have "un-officially" been invited back to attend SCC 2017, first or last week of August.
The organizer was not only impressed with our costumes but also our conduct & interaction with the patrons & other invited guests & commented how much of a joy it was to have us as well as numerous comments of how good, it was to see the Stormtroopers.

Everyone put in a major effort in hard & soft armour on the stand & patrols around the venue, it did not go un-noticed & you can be very proud of yourselves.
Thank you to our support crew & especially Dozza on those numerous escorts out on patrol with the troopers ensuring there safety & well being.

On a personal note, I would like to say thank you, to everyone for making this a great success & especially to those that traveled from outside of Mackay.

What a turn around two years, a change in management and a POC that organises the event for all the right reasons makes. Great work to all that went to make this event so successful and welcoming to all troopers attending from all over the state.

Apologies for the late report but thanks to TripleSix for lending me his laptop since mine has died, much appreciated.

This year was the first year the con did not run in conjunction with the twilight street party which those who attended the very first SCC will remember, hopefully it will next year.
