Million Paws Walk 2015

Mission: To support the RSPCA Million Paws Walk

Detail: All of us gathered at the start for the dogs to reacquaint and get their excitement out. We were all armoured up (or soft costumed up) and ready to go. We headed off on the 3km walk. Lots of drink breaks and poo stops for the dogs along the way, but all got to the finish line in good time, and whilst still full of energy, I'm sure there were a lot of tired out little doggies on the drive home.

Charity Funds Raised: Our team raised $77.75 in sponsorship. (I'd really love to do a lot better next time)

Total raised by the event was $208,367.10.

Injuries: nil

Malfunctions: nil

Public Incidents: nil

Mission Status: Complete success. A huge thank you to our Support Crew. You guys were awesome looking out for us, holding various dogs at various times, and just being there for us.

Nil malfunctions? I stuck around after, I didn't win a door prize, but I got a call yesterday from a vet in Ipswich I apparently won 3rd prize in their free raffle ($100 off dog dental or $50 off cat or dog desexing, I chose dental). Now if I only lived near Ipswich... Or had a dog...

Can't see most of the photo's right now, dreamworlds free WiFi stinks smelly butt, am I in one? (so you can all see I'm not all Tom Cruise talking myself up taller).
