Details:
A transmission was intercepted and intel gained about a local school fair... 501st members were dispatched for crowd entertainment purposes and to increase credits donated towards the Starlight foundation.

The first load of troopers arrived at around 0845 but quickly discovered the coffee supply was not up to imperial standards. Several crew boarded Whitey's land speeder to make a supply run.

With the time approaching the 10th hour the team began to get ready. A good looking mob consisting of 3 x Stormtroopers, RC Scorch, a Biker scout and a Jawa set out accompanied by their excellent support crew. The morning period had a constant flow of people and many photos were taken. At the half way mark reinforcements arrived with our second deployment consisting of RC Boss and Bariss.

As the crowd numbers began to weaken around 1400 so did the backs of our troopers... it was time to fall back and retire for the day.

Charity Funds Raised: $239.60

Injuries / Malfunctions: It was the day for malfunctions!
  • There must of been some interference in the classroom/changeroom as Altair, Diatium and Sly all experienced weird things happening with their ICOMM units.
  • Sly broke a han hook on his bicep.
  • RebbyRebReb's fans failed in her jawa mask.
  • Altair had a couple of malfunctions with a cod strap.
  • Cutter also had trouble with his bicep coming apart.
  • Sly got more than he bargained for in his lunch... and ate some aluminum foil.
  • And although not quite a malfunction... Mortogg had to wrangle because a clone helmet was forgotton.
Even with all this we managed to have a great day!

Public Incidents: A few hard hitting high fives from older kids and Whitey's back pack handles being mistaken for a jungle gym!

Mission Status: Success! This was the first time the school has had us attend and they want us back for future events Smile

Some feedback from one of the organisers - "You guys have such a fantastic concept, a wonderful thing that you do and we would like to thank you for your contribution to a fantastic charity."

A big thank you to the troopers and support crew. Everyone did an excellent job. Thanks also goes to Squirtle and Mortogg for the photos!
