Details: This the third year that we have attended this event. We were once again called to say hi to some very sick kids and well deserving families that needed a holiday to get away from the stresses of every day life.

Treasure Island once again donated their park and facilities to the Starlight Foundation for these great families to just unwind and forget, even for a little bit, what they are going through.

6pm rocked around and the team assembles. Arkalis and Spooky somehow must have missed the imperial shuttle as they went MIA. We will blame those pesky Rebel Scum again!!!!! CURSE THEM!!!!

Down a couple of troopers this did not stop the rest of us armouring up and getting ready to say hi to the kids. This year was a little different. This year we were the star attraction. Charlie from Hi 5 must have been Wiggling it somewhere, the Titans were all in court and Mick Fanning was probably bashing up another poor unsuspecting shark again in France. Our warm up act was Sunny Ray from the Gold Coast Suns.

Sunny went out first and the kids loved him. Then it was time for the Imperial Army to shine. And shine we did. Dressed in his TX, Apok was quick to point out he was not Darth Vader, merely his distant cousin Dave Vader. Some of the Imperial citizens were under the impression that we were the bad guys. We quickly set them straight mentioning all the innocent plumbers and electricians on the second death star that were just trying to earn a living and that it was really the Rebels that were the bad guys. Most believed us, the ones that didn't were made to listen to Apok's lame dad jokes until they begged for mercy. Muahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Before too long it was time to depart and let the families enjoy their meals and down time. A few more high fives, photos and dad jokes and we were gone to change and have a feed ourselves. A great night was had by all.

Charity Funds Raised: N/A This was a meet and greet.

Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil

Public Incidents: Nil

Mission Status: Complete success. We will be back again next year!!

Photos: There may be a couple from Starlight to come. Unfortunately with no designated wrangler we did take any.
