Details:
With reports of a convoy of joy bringing toys being delivered to a remote location, various shuttles converged on the location to welcome them all on arrival. Word had spread around all over the galaxy, as 501st, Mandalorian Merc and Rebel Legion members all gathered at the rendezvous point.
On the day, it seems as though the Jedi and the Dark Lord put aside any differences and prepared together for the arrival of the Toys.
As they waited together with the rumble of the incoming convoy in the distance, the Reserve Pilot kept a close eye on them both. A brave man indeed, standing between these two.
More Reserve Pilots were on hand to assist with the welcoming party, along with a Snowtrooper who must have taken a wrong toin' at Albakoikie, as there was definitely no snow in the area, with temperatures higher than a summer day on Mustafar.
The Mando's kept a close eye on proceedings also, looking out for any possible opportunities to delight the crowd.
Many more photo's were taken with the thankful crowd of Toy bringers.
With the heat rising, the Snowtrooper went on a mission to find something to cool down the troopers.
The crowd slowly dispersed and the troopers then boarded their respective shuttles and made their way to a predetermined meeting point. They met at the local Fish'n'Grill Cantina, as per official protocol in the Wide Bay Trooping Guide, for a well deserved, famous Hervey Bay Parmy.
One "Rogue" Jedi decided to have Fish.
What was he thinking...........
DarkFather had to wait a little longer for his to arrive. He was sad.....
But soon became happy.
Along with MyKill, who once served, remained speechless until he had finished devouring the greatness that is The Fish'n'Grill Parmy.
Charity Funds Raised:
N/A - We attended to welcome in the Riders delivering the Toys.
Injuries / Malfunctions:
No injuries as such. Just a close call with the heat with 2 troopers feeling less than 100%, so we kept it short.
Public Incidents:
Nil
Mission Status:
A short, sharp troop. We added some fun and excitement for the Riders as they finished their Toy Run. All were excited to see us there and appreciated getting some photo's with us. A very hot day, so we kept it short.
A BIG thank you to MyKill and Imperial Drone for making the trip to the event from Brisbane way and also once again to the Bundaberg members who make the trip to our area almost without thinking about it.
