May the 4th MAW event for Alex
Date: May 4th, 2024
Venue: Brisbane planetarium
Time: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Mission: To Surprise Alex and his family with a full Star Wars experience
Trooper attendance:
Sly11 TK11469, Satel SL 88668, BAM TK20958
Wranglers:
Kity DZ39752
3:30pm Arrived and met with event organiser Annie from Disney. She directed us to our change area and briefed us the chain of events.
4:00pm Sign in to Planetarium and do a brief walk though.
4:30pm Began kitting up and waiting for updates on when it was our time to take the experience to the next level.
5:15pm Taken to our holding area in prep for our grand entrance into the main dome
5:30pm We make our entrance, in very dim lighting, and walked to the centre of the dome with the light of Vader's sabre guiding our way.
Alex was standing with his newly constructed Light Sabre We posed for photos with Alex and his family and friends
Details: The team all performed exceptionally, Vader stealing the show with his breathing and imposing stature.
The family and Alex were truly excited and thankful of our presence.
No incidence to report.
Fun was had by all on another successful troop for the mighty Redbacks.
