QUT Kelvin Grove Troop Report

Date: 2nd May 2025

Venue: QUT Kelvin Grove

Time: 11am

Mission: To bring Redback awesome and support a Star Wars fan group!

Trooper Attendance:
RBG: CT:33827 Bolt, TB:12311 Teiwaz, TS:15148 Tythephantom

Details:
1000: Arrived and found each other in the QUT carpark (very confusing)
1010: Met up with the event organisers and scouted out the troop location. We were primarily located in front of a library building.
1100: After a bit of coordinating, we set up our flag and went to suit up at our cars. I hid around a corner to kit up.
1120: Suited up, myself Ty and Teiwaz marched to the troop location and began taking pictures with the public.
1330: We went to the cafeteria and took photos with people inside. Ty finished up not long after as he has kids to look after!
1400: Teiwaz and I trooped for a while longer. After a quick repair trip to the cars, we headed back to rove the campus and take some cool pictures. We discovered a huge Death Star!
1500: Finished up after watching a sabre dual! All troops de-kitted and returned to base.


Injuries / Malfunctions: The Velcro in my thigh armour decided to let go and I resorted to duct-tape. Teiwaz smacked his holster on a bench seat but it was okay.

Public Incidents: None to report

Mission Status: Success!

Big thanks to Ty and Teiwaz for coming out for this one, we did well considering we had no wrangler. I look forward to seeing the completed fan film our friends at QUT make. We have them to thank for the amazing photos they took on the day also!
