Details: Redbank Garrison has supported Jessie's Party for many years. The event this year has moved away from the association with Jessie and while her family attended they were no longer involved in organising the event. They still referred to the stage as Jessie's Stage which was a nice touch.
With only 3 troopers attending this year we didn't deploy the usual marquee setup. Dark Dora switched to the Tie Reserve to wrangle. We had several people ask where the Jawa was, but on a cloudy day with no eyes the Jawa wasn't an option.
The weather was cloudy with wind chill and showers which kept the crowd numbers down.
The event also changed location to Buhk's Park at Alexandra Headland. The new venue is right on the beach and I think it would have been better supported if the weather was better.
Still there were plenty families keen for a photo, and the organisers were grateful for our contribution to the event.
