TCC Bedtime Story Night

Venue: Toowoomba Christian College

Time: 5:15pm  – 5:45pm

Mission:
A young Star Wars fan has been going through a rough patch in his life, our mission was to gift him some books and spend time with him to hopefully bring some smiles and cheer him up.
Our secondary objective was to take pictures with the year 1 students on their book week story night.

Trooper Attendance:
RBG: CT:33827 Bolt, TK:90579 Scotty33
Wrangler: BH:22810 Snips

Details:

1630: Arrived in school carpark. We met up with the year 1 teacher/event organizer and made our way to the library.
1700: By 5pm we were kitted up and ready to troop. The kids and their parents were arriving, and we met them at the door for photos and to hand out collector cards and stickers.
1720: The young lad we were trooping for arrived and we made sure to spend time with him. We presented him with some Star Wars books and stickers and had our picture taken with him.
1745: Scotty and I stood with the group of kids and had a group photo. Thankfully neither of us were asked to read the kids a story!

Injuries / Malfunctions: None to report

Public Incidents: None! 

Mission Status: Success! This may seem to be a small troop, but it was of the upmost importance. Bringing smiles somewhere that normal people cannot, is exactly what us troopers should be doing.
