Toowoomba Christmas Wonderland 2025
Venue: Queen's Park Botanical Gardens, Toowoomba
Time: 6pm – 9pm
Mission:
To support a local community event and represent the 501st!
Trooper Attendance:
RBG: CT:33827 "Bolt", TK:90579 "Scotty33", TK:29566 "Oxy", TI:20552 "Mykill"
Wrangler: BH:22810 "Snips"
Details:
1800: Arrived and got organised for the night. Weather was quite warm.
1830: Suited up we made sure to enter the park before gates opened. There was a long line of people waiting to get into the park tonight.
1900: Gates opened, and not long after we had a full line of people waiting for a picture with us.
2000: The first hour passed very fast, Snips did an incredible job wrangling!
2050: Not once had the crowd slowed down, we started to get worried we may not be able to escape!
2115: We wrapped trooping, crowds were still kind of busy. Leaving the park we stopped for a few pictures.
Injuries / Malfunctions: My boot strap came undone three times, I really need to fix it. Unfortunately Scotty's reindeer was stolen by a member of the public when Snips wasn't looking, RIP.
Public Incidents: Kids crying count: 4
Tie Pilot confused as Vader count: 12
Mission Status: Success!
Congrats on 11 years trooping the Wonderland folks! This last night 5500 people came through the gates, making it the busiest night on record!
