Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Mission: To add a festive Star Wars presence to the Community Christmas Festival and Parade “Jingle All The Bay”. A big event and local tradition with thousands attending.

The 2025 Jingle All The Bay event got lucky in that the predicted huge storm didn’t eventuate, and it wasn’t too hot! We were allocated Pets of Sandgate store again and could use the staffroom and facilities which was great though a little cozy. The staff there are great. Big crowds were gathering with lots more stalls, food and rides. The parade route was the same as last year. We all kitted up and wandered out to mingle with the crowd for an hour before the parade and stopped for lots of photos and high fives. We had plenty of time so it was great to be part of the festival before the parade.
Despite the (incorrect) dire weather prediction we were again impressed with the size of the crowd and how appreciative they were of us! The parade size was good also, a few less vintage cars. Lots of cheers and applause and again a very heartfelt thank you from the Marketing manager for us attending.
A huge shout out to GA Hayden who did a great job engaging the kids and helping them pose for photo and making them feel welcome. He’s a natural trooper and really did great! Another awesome parade completed, roll on 2026!

Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil
Public Incidents: NIL.
Mission Status: Success. Parade and crowds are growing each year. The Pet shop is happy to host us again next year and the organisers love us attending, mingling with the festival crowds and being part of the parade. It's a really fun event, not difficult but with a lot of impact!
