Details:
Sol system local indigenous time 19.15 post meridian 07September 2013 ....... Begin transmission ...
At local time 07.30 am, DZ 2471 stopped at location given and opened the Sand Crawler door and proceeded to inspect the area while having what the local's called a sausage and egg muffin and something called dishwater liquid that turned out to be what the local population calls coffee.
Then meet TD 22422 at the local idea of a Holo Net area, but had live music and strange things being set up and tuned ... DZ 2471 assumes TD 22422 parks the Dewback elsewhere as he can't see it. We meet the local supporters of the Empire, Michelle and Dave, who joined us in The Walk to raise awareness for all children in remembrance of a young child named Daniel Morcombe .
At 09.00 am local time we proceed to walk to local meeting point 1.8km away, called Enzo's Cafe. Sort of like the Toshe station in Tattooine. Sad to say DZ 2471 had to stop half way, as local atmosphere was wrecking havoc with his allergies, thank you for the company Dave. DZ 2471 was Informed that TD 22422 with Michelle made it there, had a quick inspection and didn't find anything out of the ordinary and then joined in the walk back and meet up again with DZ 2471 and Dave. Then as one group of 200 people that reminded us both of a wild herd of Bantha's, we migrated back to the start where there were local markets and a local food delicacy called a cupcake that TD 22422 had a closer inspection of. TD 22422 found some very interesting candy at a local vendor also.
After walking around looking at trinkets and items for friends back on Tattooine, we decided to make one last round, and came across some bizarre inscription on the landscape. Not sure what to make of it though? Some donations were given to us for the Morcombe Foundation as we patrolled the area and let the locals capture images. We then left the area to enjoy some well needed rest.
Charity Funds Raised:tba
Injuries / Malfunctions:nil
Public Incidents:none that was known to us
Mission Status: Great time had by one and all and been asked to return if we wish for next years events .
