Detail:

We started out in the marquee that was setup as a change room for us all, thank you MS staff Julia and Sarah!

A few select characters went up on stage for a mock warm-up with jedi mind powers by myself as they danced with the Cantina Song.

As this finished we waited for the last few troopers, posed for our group pic and then just made it for the start
of the MS Moonwalk.

So Began a walk of 10kms. At the first check point a couple of armour malfunctions were identified – but nothing gaffer tape couldnt fix!

A top up of fluids and then we continued, as the rain held off and the sun set,

The halfway point also happened to be the Story Bridge Hotel. Whilst Sandman, Samantha and Lestat forged ahead, the rest of the Squad infiltrated the hotel and liberated a number of jugs of beer, in the name of the Emperor. A toast to the Empire, a few more photo’s with locals and we were off. As we crossed the Story bridge we got many notes of appreciation from the passing traffic, and we then descended back towards the City.

As the walk continued through the Riverside nightlub/restaurant district, many many more photos from locals and international visitors were had.

The path grew dark as it entered the Botanical Gardens, which meant it was getting close to the final hurdle of the Goodwill Bridge. As we started to crest the bridge it began to rain but our spirits were not dampened and we passed off the bridge in (almost) perfect formation.

The last leg was back through Southbank, and we made it to the Finish line in just under 2.5 hours. Not a bad
effort everyone!

As we entered the change rooms the media were all over us and had more
pics
