Each year, the Redback Garrison hold an Awards Night to celebrate the years success, and reflect on our achievements. We also present our formal awards to troopers who have gone above and beyond the normal expectations, and who have fully embodied all the qualities of the 501st Legion.

Rookie of the Year
The definition of a Rookie: Anybody who got their TKID in within that calendar year.
Rookie of the Year is awarded to the Rookie who has demonstrated their support for other troopers, contributed to fundraising, and promoted the Legion.
Trooper’s Trooper
Trooper’s Trooper is awarded to the MVP who has been a major positive influence amongst the Troopers and helped out his fellow troopers by wrangling, attending Armour Parties, fostering goodwill amongst the Garrison, welcoming Cadets and contributing at Troops.
Trooper of the Year
This is the person who has gone above and beyond, and has contributed the most to the Garrison, to our Charities and the helped with Events throughout the year!
Longfin “Sharkie”
The Sharkie is awarded to the Longfin Squad member who has contributed the most to the development of the Squad, to our nominated charities, and helped with local events throughout the year.3
Razorback “Piggie”
The Piggie is awarded to the Razorback Squad member who has contributed the most to the development of the Squad, to our nominated charities, and helped with local events throughout the year.
